Earthsite's team is continuously working on exploring and building on new ideas through our laboratory. In addition to the client work showcased in our portfolio, Earthsite has launched some of its own projects.   Here is a sampling of our work.  If you are interested in learning more about any of these projects feel free to contact us.

Earthsite’s lab project OpenBrands.org is a social brand monitoring tool, allowing consumers to have a say in the future of brands.  Powered by Twitter, OpenBrands shows real-time conversations, approval ratings, and top influencers for major consumer brands.

OpenBrands has partnered with Twitalyzer.com to measure Brand Metrics and Top Influencers.  Brand Metrics show measurements of a brand’s reputation on Twitter. The Top Influencer leaderboard shows the most influential Twitter users discussing each brand.

Founder, Joey Shepp says, "We are inspiring brands and community to join in an open conversation.  Through brand tagging, people Tweet about brands in a way that it can be measured.  We track positive/negative brand sentiment and make it public, showing that every Tweet is counted, and every Tweet counts.  Our social mission is promote transparency in marketing, leading to an open engagement between community and brands."

green-mavenIn 2006 Earthsite created the world’s most comprehensive Green Search Engine, GreenMaven.com.  GreenMaven has been recognized by Time.com, BBC, and CBS Radio.  The search engine searches over 8,000 websites representing over one million pages.  5,000+ green businesses have been approved in the directory.

"Going green has never been easier than with Green Maven. Editors at the site hand-pick web pages and news items related to the environmental movement-about everything from eco-friendly cities to organic socks-that can then be searched using the Google tool on the homepage or browsed through using a directory."
~ Lee Ettleman, TIME.COM

"Just a note to thank you for such an outstanding and valuable website. I've just forwarded it to a dozen people who will also forward it widely. I will read Green Maven regularly and continue the transition to a complete green lifestyle. Thank you so much for the content and the excellence of presentation."
~ Helen Brown, San Rafael, CA
