Earthsite is happy to announce that we have partnered with The LOHAS Forum which will be held on June 23-25, 2010 in Boulder, CO.  The LOHAS Forum brings together 500+ business executives to network and learn about the opportunities the LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) marketplace has to offer and how best to target the LOHAS consumer.  Earthsite will be assisting in social media outreach and strategy.  Onsite we will be participating in the Social Media A-ha Cafe.  There is also talk of an event in the Spring that we will be hosting in the SF Bay Area that will give participants a taste of the A-ha Cafe.  Stay tuned for details.......

Earthsite is committed to supporting the growth of the renewable energy sector.  Earthsite’s founder Joey Shepp is also one of the founders of Sustainable Hosting. 

Sustainable Hosting purchases 40,000-kilowatt hours worth of Green-e certified renewable energy certificates annually to offset the energy used by the network of servers and supporting infrastructure, as well as all company travel. Our offices use 100% renewable energy where available; others are included in our carbon offsets. Over the course of one year, these certificates prevent the emission of 51,000 pounds of CO2. This is equivalent to the carbon sequestration power of 20 acres of trees.
